Colorado Plateau Chamber Music Society
About us
Newly formed in 2024, the Colorado Plateau Chamber Music Society is a nonprofit organization committed to presenting innovative chamber music performances, played by the world-class musicians who call our region their home. With a name inspired by the large geographic region that is the Colorado Plateau, the CPCMS seeks to connect with the communities and people throughout western Colorado through live chamber music performances in accessible settings.
Concerts are offered on a donation basis, inviting everyone to attend, especially those who might be experiencing chamber music for the first time. While the CPCMS offers performances around the region, we are enthusiastically centered in Fruita, playing our season concerts in the beautiful space of Our Lady of Perpetual Motion.

As a nonprofit organization, and a concert series that offers performances on a "suggested donation" basis, we count on your donations, grants, business sponsorships and community partnerships to bring music to you.
We seek to contribute to the cultural vibrancy of the western slope and to bring together the community through music. In particular we work to reach new audiences of all ages from our large rural area and those who may not usually be able to afford to attend.
